Adare wins Home Retail Group Transactional Mail contract

31/01/2011
We have been awarded a 3 year contract to provide Transactional Mail services for the Home Retail Group plc.

Home Retail Group operates in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and currently has two well known brands, Argos and Homebase.

The collapse of Bemrose Booth meant that HRG had to invoke it’s Disaster Recovery plan and so HRG went out to tender to identify a reliable, financially stable supplier that could provide a transactional mail solution that would satisfy its stringent cost, quality and service requirements in both the immediate and longer terms.

Adare’s Chief Executive Officer, Robert Whiteside said, "Adare has been providing multi-channel transactional solutions for over 20 years and this experience has resulted in a robust and flexible production platform that can deliver communications across a range of paper and electronic channels. Our continued investment in equipment, infrastructure and technology will enable us to support HRG with both their existing transactional requirements and their future communications strategy and we are delighted to have been selected by such a market leader as HRG."

Adare has invested heavily in its production infrastructure and digital output capabilities including the recent purchase of InfoPrint IP 5000 equipment which has strengthened its existing white paper solution.

Mike Palmer, Head of Operations for HRG Financial Services Division commented, "Recent experience meant that financial stability was a major consideration for us during the selection process, however, it was Adare’s overall service capability and cultural fit that was key to our decision. Adare was able to evidence the value of re-engineering our documents to maximise the 'white space' available on our statements and this will enable us to utilise our statements to communicate more effectively with our clients using highly targeted, relevant personalisation and messages."
