Drupa 2008 exhibition

Barry Crich, executive director for marketing and customer communications specialist, Adare, comments on his experiences at this year's Drupa exhibition.
"This is the fifth time I have visited Drupa and I have to say it has been the best exhibition to date. The main aim of attending was to research potential investment opportunities for Adare, with an emphasis on transactional mail and transpromotional solutions.
"The exhibition provided the ideal arena to investigate potential partnerships and collate a comprehensive overview of new technologies available across key sectors in order to develop the company's investment strategy over the next two years.
"Drupa highlighted how the industry is reinventing itself through embracing digital technologies and solutions that are new to the market. It offered the opportunity to review potential alternatives in a competitive and informative environment, with Océ, Xerox and Infoprint's transpromotional offerings leading the way."
