Bespoke Direct Marketing solution for Hamptons scoops Adare Marketing Connect Awards nomination

Marketing and Customer Communications expert Adare has been short listed in the 'Best new data software or technology' category at the prestigious Marketing Connect Awards, in response to the direct marketing solution it has delivered for estate agency group, Hamptons International.

The awards, which honour the leading suppliers of direct marketing solutions, will be held at Grosvenor House on 22nd September 2008. The judges will be looking for the best new database marketing software product or technological solution, taking into account innovation, functionality and overall impact on the marketplace.

Adare received the nomination as a result of the bespoke online direct marketing application (part of the MC2 suite of e-solutions) it has developed for Hamptons to enable highly targeted, tactical direct marketing campaigns.

In a turnaround time of just 14 weeks, the marketing and customer communications specialist developed an innovative solution that integrates a complete property database for each branch of the Hamptons estate with a library of digital artwork and editing tools.

The application allows employees to create bespoke materials required to secure new instructions for properties to market in just 15 clicks of a mouse. With each campaign taking an average of two minutes to create and arriving on doormats in just 5 working days, the application delivers speed to market, whilst also ensuring consistency of corporate materials to protect the Hamptons brand.

Hampton's can now drive regional, as well as bespoke local campaigns, through the sharing of a single database, which saves both time and the cost of gaining data from third parties. Since the software launch Adare has delivered more than two million targeted mailers, and with the application being web-based new branches can be quickly added. When it went live 60 branches were on-line, today 123 are fully operational.

Hamptons has estimated a saving of up to 15 per cent in the first year the system went live and has experienced a reduction in returns to just 0.5 per cent as a result of increased targeting accuracy.

Robert Whiteside, chief executive officer at Adare says: "Adare's nomination for the Marketing Connect Award highlights our achievement of tailoring our award winning MC2 technology suite to provide Hamptons with a bespoke and innovative software solution that can be accessed and effectively utilised by all branches to ensure targeted and accurate tactical marketing campaigns across the estate.

"The integrated single source approach offers a highly efficient tool which leverages the data, process management and digital fulfilment expertise of Adare to help Hamptons stay one step ahead of competitors in a challenging market.

"Being short listed in the 'Best new data software or technology' category further demonstrates Adare's commitment to delivering inspired and results driven solutions to clients through customised technology that is tailored to the client's specific business needs."

The nomination comes after a trio of prestigious award wins for Adare including; the Quality in Print (QIP) 'Print Management Award' and European Retail Solutions Award (ERSA) for 'Best Use of B2B Internet Technology' as a result of the company's MC2 technology solution implemented for Tie Rack and the DBA Inclusive Design Challenge Award earlier in the year.
