Adare wins £5m NFU Mutual contract
Adare has confirmed its place as a leading financial marketing and corporate communications provider, after winning a new £5m contract with NFU Mutual (NFUM).
The three year marketing communications contract with the insurance, investment and pensions specialists covers print procurement, art work and repro, storage, distribution, fulfilment and collation of over 700 separate types of literature.
With the key driver for NFUM to increase control and efficiency, Adare will also provide an improved on-line service for around 400 NFUM agents across the UK, enabling them to send orders for marketing and sales literature directly to Adare. This provides the additional benefit of vastly improved delivery lead times together with a dedicated order tracking service and customer account team for the client’s many contacts across the UK.
Drawing on its considerable experience in providing marketing communications solutions across the financial services sector, Adare demonstrated the ability to offer a significant service enhancement over the previous in-house model used by NFUM - generating cost benefits, improved brand control and enhanced speed to market by putting agents in direct contact with the distributor.
Adare’s Chief Executive, Robert Whiteside, says: “Our strength in the financial services arena goes back over many years. We have delivered solutions incorporating the full range of communication media, particularly marketing communications, for some of the country’s leading financial institutions. This knowledge and experience meant our team could identify and demonstrate to NFUM the benefits and cost savings Adare could bring to its existing marketing communications model.
“Adare’s account management team is second to none and will be pivotal in the development of the relationship with NFUM. Our key focus is always to enhance the levels of service our clients receive as a whole and I cannot stress enough the importance of Adare’s people in achieving this.”
The account management team has already begun the process of identifying ways in which they can develop further on-line provision using the suite of software and technology available within Adare. One option will be to provide improved localisation and targeted marketing campaigns via individual agents by incorporating dynamic online document editing and on-demand production techniques.
Karen Price, Special Projects Manager at NFUM, comments: “As a result of feedback from agents across the country, we’re pleased to have found a business partner who can offer a complete end-to-end marketing communications solution, with the distribution capabilities we need around the UK, including Northern Ireland.
“Adare will provide a much more efficient and cost effective service to the business, giving us the opportunity to scale the operation to meet the changing needs of NFU Mutual and our customers.”
The NFUM deal follows a double contract win for Adare at the end of 2006 including a £5m marketing communications contract with health club giant Fitness First and a five year deal with world leading security company Securitas UK.
