Adare names 'high level' addition to the board

Following on from last month’s ‘grand unveiling’ of its ‘new face’, Adare announced a key senior appointment to its executive team.

Alistair Cane joins as executive director for strategic solutions with the primary objective of driving and developing marketing and corporate communications solutions for Adare’s major clients.

With over 13 years experience in the business process outsourcing arena with Williams Lea, Alistair has played a pivotal role in some of the largest transactions undertaken in this sector in the last five years.

He joins Adare’s executive team at a time of dynamic change for the firm as it positions itself as a data driven, multi-media marketing and customer communications organisation.

Robert Whiteside, chief executive of Adare, comments: “Alistair’s appointment is a further milestone in the development of Adare as we look to open up new opportunities that will drive the business forward. His knowledge of the global markets and ability to deliver large scale solutions that satisfy clients’ own drivers and objectives will be a huge asset for Adare and his appointment is a real coup.

“His significant international experience working with major global organisations across Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia, will prove invaluable as we look to progress Adare’s own global offering.”

Alistair adds: “I am delighted to be joining Adare at this time of strategic development and growth. The company is no longer simply a provider of print-related services - some of the areas of innovation we are championing have the ability to change the face of the marketing and customer communications sector for many years to come.

“The strategic conversations we are having with clients across a number of sectors are creating solutions that will enable some of the world’s largest organisations to not only communicate more effectively with their customers, as well as realise significant cost savings, but also have the ability to positively affect the environmental impact and carbon foot print of these critical customer interactions.”

Alistair, as part of the executive team, will help to emphasise to clients and the market that in dealing with the ‘single face’ of Adare, there will be one touch point from which they can gain access to a multitude of complementary, integrated services across the marketing and customer communications spectrum.

Robert concludes: “This appointment demonstrates our commitment to delivering a unique offering to the marketplace – innovative, cross sector, data driven, multi-media marketing and customer communication services that meet and even exceed clients’ requirements and deliver real value-added benefits.”
